  1. Well that was an eye opener. Firstly, after embedding all the pictures and saving, the file size dropped from 9.38Gb to 2.69Gb. Then after changing back to linked, as Save As created a file of 14.8Mb Perfect, thank you.
  2. Thank you for your response. I checked, and no, Save History is not checked.
  3. I'm using Affinity Publisher 1.10.5 on an M1 MacBookPro Creating an 80-page magazine with many photos. In similar Indesign jobs the file size would be around 150Mb. The file size for the Publisher document is over 9Gb, and the laptop is struggling when outputting print-ready PDFs (file size of the 300dpi PDF is about 600Mb, which is normal). All images are linked and not embedded. Can I do anything about this?
  4. I have the same problem, working on a new MacBook Pro m1 Open the program, create a new file, add some text, and then when I try to open the character window, the programme crashes. Makes it very hard to do any work. Now it is Nov 29, your reply was Nov 5 and no answers.
