[Tools not working (subtract)]

Hi all,

I am a very beginner designer, so bare with me please :). I have purchased V2 after having V1 for a little while. I've noticed that I cannot use 'subtract' option at all. None of the Desings I am working on. Not sure it is because the type of the designs or because something is wrong? Maybe the way I want to finish the designs it is not the right way, however I have an object in black (a butterfly) with 'holes', which I'd like to fill in in some ways to be able to create 2 different screens for screen printing purposes. And I have thought that maybe subtracting a rectangular shape will help me, but I cannot find out as the option isn't available to me. Could you please advice?

[Affinity Photo Download issue]

Hi there,

 

Hope you are well. I'm contacting because 2 days ago I have just purchased Affinity Photo and I wanted to start using it and when I went do download it says I have to contact the administrator for permission. So, I have thought that something is wrong with my PC/account so, contacted to Microsoft and they went through my PC, when they said that I have to contact you because you can grant me permission to download the software.

Which is weird. 2 weeks ago I purchased designer from you and had no problem.

Would you look into it for me please to see if it's really your end?
