Problem solved (start performance and scanning) after opening the scanner from the system preferences. Strangely that was never needed before after an update. PS: It might be worth noting, that my user account is not a member in the sudoers group. For security reason's I have a separate admin account.

Hi, since the latest update I can only scan images in black & white. When scanning in color, the result is garbage. Scanning with Apple's Preview app though still works fine, so it's an Affinity problem only. Furthermore it now takes ages until Affinity Photo starts. My system: iMac Pro 2017 macOS 11.6.1 Affinity Photo 1.10.4 Canon TS 5050 (Printer / Scanner Combo) Attached a color scan example, one intact by Preview App and a corrupt one by Affinity Photo.
