[Option-Drag from center to scale/transform]

Sorry but in this case Affinity is a wrong-way driver. Absolute no-go. Then add a switch to the preferences.

Thanks. Indeed I missed the "bottom line". It tells me to hold the CMD-key.

Okay - Now I change this into a bug-report.

The modifier has to be OPTION, not CMD. This is so awfully wrong as Affinity is the only one Mac app uses a different modifier.

Please change ASAP.

In almost every app able to work with objects you can scale objects around the center by pressing the option-key (Mac) when dragging a corner point.

Not so with Affinity.

Why?

Please add this feature (or don't remove it) in upcoming versions.
