Thank you yes the file type has changed from All Documents(af design) to Text Files (txt) for some reason. Problem solved and thanks to everyone. I am learning but when things change for no reason is confusing. Thanks again to ALL

Hello all and thanks for replies. This appears after placing several images and making no changes just going to the file to import.

I have been importing files from folders stored on my PC using place, I have worked through the tree to the folder containing images. I have placed maybe four images to the same page with no problem, place brings up the folder previously imported from but there afe no files just blank page. That is for all my photo files, I have changed nothing and the message is no files match your choice. Where has everything gone ? If I shut down re-boot i nto Affinity they ae all there again untill I have imported or placed a few images. Hope I am making sense !

Using Designer and Publisher after placing a few images further images are not available and the message is "no images match your choice. This happens every time I use the software in Windows when I have previously chosen images from file with all images showing, just a blank page where all my images are kept.
