  1. Well, i think i found the suspect. The suspect is when you activate Instant Replay by Nvidia, it will make the Affinity Photo crashed. But, when i turned it off, AP never crash since then. Hope this topic would be useful
  2. But, did you solved the issue right now?? I also tried as you did, but nope didn't have a good result
  3. I will digging my Nvidia Geforce software further, because lately it did not working well, so i suspecting it. For the hardware, it's fine but hopefully it wouldnt be the main suspect
  4. I did installed the latest GPU Drivers (516.94) I think i found the problem. After i post this topic and restarted my laptop, the Instant Replay by Geforce Exp is shutting down by itself and cannot be turned on since then (But if i restart the laptop, it will be good again). So, the Instant Replay might be somehow crashed the Photo. When i turned off manually, Photo is working as usual About this, i tried reinstalling Windows 11 1 or 2 times now, but not because of Affinity Photo
  5. I am using Premiere Pro 2021 Yes i screenshot one of a frame from the video for the thumbnail I did, it last longer (sometimes till i finished making thumbnail). But sometimes it crashed
  6. Hi everyone, hope you are doing well. I want to ask about Affinity Photo keep crashing, not just the app but the entire system are crashed. Before i wrote this topic, i searched up some solutions and found the same Affinity user who have the same problem. Here is the link I opened Affinity Photo after i edited videos to make thumbnail. Yes, i opened with my editing software open. But back then, there are no issues on Affinity Photo if the reason it was crashed because lack of memory (RAM). The crash occured when i'm using Selection Brush Tool with wide pixel range and as i zoom in to make my selection better, i lower the width of the Selection Brush Tool and voila, Affinity Photo crashed. Always occured when i'm doing that. I don't know if other action could bring Photo to crashed. I always careful to open Affinity Photo now because this crashed thing and probably ruin my laptop too. Please fix this, Affinity Team I updated my GPU and CPU Drivers, checking update for Affinity Photo, but still have the same problem. Oh yeah, i tried HW Acceleration On and Off and have the same problem. But when i turn it off, it get better but still occurs but not as ofter as i turn the HW Accel On. Is this kind of bug or Affinity Photo isn't the best in Windows 11? Because some people said that they never occur such crash in Windows 10. Here are my specs if you want to know (My laptop is Legion 5 Pro) - CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 5800H - GPU : Nvidia RTX 3060 Laptop GPU - RAM : 16 GB Should i lower my Affinity Photo version to 1.9? PS : I will record when the crashed occured. Hopefully i will catch it so you can see what i'm talking about Thank you
  7. It is quite faster than before. But it still feel pretty laggy. Since you said multiple large pixel layers will be slower to edit, and my project as an example. Anyway, thank you so much for discussing this problem, Dan. Really appreciated
  8. Maybe this is the problem. I have 1920x1080 canvas. With every layer minimum up to 2000x2000 but no adjustment placed. Is it because multiple layer with large pixel could cause the problem? My lagging problem is actually not only happened on Affinity, my video editor such as Premiere Pro have the same issue and i have no complex effects, only green screen and caused lag and stutters
  9. Hello, sorry for my late reply. Been a busy work in here. Sorry i missed the first link i provided turned out for the older Affinity Photo This is my screenshot as you ask for. I also screenshot my current version of Affinity Photo Now i will clean installation for my Nvidia Driver. Hope it works
  10. Currently i'm using the latest driver of Nvidia as a GPU and AMD as a CPU (RTX 3060, AMD Ryzen 7 5800H). I'm also already untick the Hardware Acceleration and still have the same issue. I found previous forum who might be have the same problem as i am. Here are the links https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/147458-affinity-photo-works-very-slow-and-unaccurate-after-update/page/2/ https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/87485-affinity-photo-lagging-while-moving-objects/
  11. Affinity Photo 2022-08-10 17-01-40.mp4 Affinity Photo 2022-08-12 16-53-27.mp4 Anybody know what is the issue? I've been using Affinity Photo for a year and never have a lag issue like in the video. The layers are not too crowded and not too heavy either. I'm testing with almost no picture, just background and feel the same. It became stuttered. How can i solve this issue? Thanks
  12. I want to make selection of the plane's engine. Because it wasn't perfect, so i have to subtract and adding. But when i move to another mode (Subtract to adding, adding to subtract), it give a time to respond. My opinion is maybe the selection is gaining some information or something. But i try to other engine, it's worked like usual, still have a time to respond Anyone know why? Or this is my lack of knowledge? Thank you Affinity Photo 2021-12-05 13-48-26.mp4
  13. Crashing too? Well i guess it's true, but thanks for the the reply and your kind help. Means a lot. Looking forward for upcoming update to fix this problem. Thanks in advance, @MEB
