Hi Chris.   Solved!  I figured it out..... when I first bought the iMac I changed the size of the mouse cursor.... and that effected the size of the brush in all my apps!  Thanks again for your support.

Hi Chris.  Thanks again, but I have just discovered that I'm having the exactly the same issue with brushes in Photoshop!!  It's mind-boggling!  So it must be an Apple Monterey M1 issue?!  It doesn't make sense.  I don't know if your Affinity developers cam make sense of it?

Hi

I'm having problems paint brushing the FFT details in Affinity Photo Filters.   The selected Brush diameter is much bigger than the actual blacked-out circle.  ( I couldn't get a screenshot because the Circle circle guide-lines didn't show up).  But the actual painted area is about a third smaller than the brush size.
