Came here with the exact same topic. I'm really, really hoping a software company able to create such great software such as Serif would start the development of a Lightroom replacement. Lightroom is incredibly slow compared to the machine the machine I'm running it on and paying the subscription is incredibly painful. If Serif came out with a replacement product, I'd switch in a heartbeat.
