    Thanks. Have uploaded it. I'm not a graphics expert. But the earlier incarnation of this file works currently (v1), but not the later (v2, with more objects added) in the the new OS/updated version of AD. Thanks!

    Have a file that I have been working on, has a huge number of small objects. Have updated to Monterey (12.01) on a MacBook Pro 13" M1 2020, 16Gb RAM. Affinity Designer 1.10.4. Can't open the file, just have the "spinny beach ball", even if i leave the computer alone, the work does not show. Eventually I get the objects in the layers toolbar, but never see the image I'm editing.
