The monitor profile should be selected in windows settings, the affinity preference should be set to what colour space you usually work in

Hi SonjaD,
welcome to the Affinity forums! It seems you have set your monitor calibration profile as RGB profiles for Affinity documents. Try instead an output profile as e.g. the sRGB or AdobeRGB profile.
I found the solution... thanks guys for the answer:
The new profile had to be added manually in WINDOWS... somehow Affinity used an older version ( it could not know) ... the other software already knew... Jesus... THANKS for the help
Every image is now looking the same everywhere HURRA

Hi @all
i just pulled the Adobe plug and installed Affinity.. now, I am having a little problem with the colour reproduction in my workspace.
I have a calibrated monitor. When I open a simple jpeg... the image appears more saturated. = ?
I open the same file in different applications, like GIMP, RAW therapy, Darktable , Inkspace or the Explorer itself. In all these the jpeg is looking exactly the same.
But when I drag it into Affinity Photo or the Affinity Designer, it looks more saturated. ;(
I set the Monitor Colour in the colour management. Still it does not change a thing. =?
Screenshots below: settings and same image in GIMP or Affinity Photo.
What am I missing here? I just want a real preview for any editing in the future.
Thanks for any answer or help.
