Hi @Joachim_L
I deactivated Hardware Acceleration, and it works fine now. Its also seems to have solved another problem: previously ARW files were opening in stages in the RAW processor, but now they open instantly.
The drivers for the graphics card appear to be up to date. I've got an Intel(R) Iris(R) Xe Graphics, and an NVIDIA GeForce MX450.

Are your graphic drivers up-to-date? If yes, deactivate Hardware Acceleration in Preferences > Performance and try again. If this was the solution, please tell the name of your graphic card.
