The Olderfleet got a reaction from Dan C in Affinity apps are now available for installation via Winget!
There has been quite a bit of discussion elsewhere on this forum (ie [1] and [2]) about the availability of Affinity Designer, Publisher and Photo on Winget. I note that the programmes are now available for installation via that method:
    To install Affinity Photo 2:
winget install 9P8DVF1XW02V To install Affinity Designer 2:
winget install 9N2D0P16C80H To install Affinity Publisher 2:
winget install 9NTV2DZ11KD9 I note that version numbers in winget are listed as "202.1.2075.0" when the software shows "2.2.1". The source is also shown as "msstore" rather than "winget". It would be good if someone could set up some "friendly" ID's (ie "Affinity.Designer" rather than "9N2D0P16C80H"), like what I see with other software packages.
Anyway, I've just installed them this afternoon, so we'll see how the upgrade works when 2.2.2 or 2.3 come out.
    Thought I'd share 😀
