  1. In general I love using Affinity Designer, but this lack of support for mutli-page tables is a real downer. I have a project just handed to me with a short turnaround time, and I'm going to have to dig out my old copy of Adobe InDesign to do it — that's InDesign from 10 years ago, which even back then had great table features.
  2. The title of this thread is ' Objects to "No Print" '. It's not tied to any version number. It's a feature request, so it's still valid.
  3. PLEASE enable "no print" as an option for objects, or at least for layers. Yes, some of us still design for print!
  4. Thanks, never noticed that extra little handle before. Now I can resize text along with other objects. One I thing I notice though: line weights are not scaled on objects with borders. Is there some way to scale line weights along with everything else?
  5. Is there any way to scale type along with graphics (images, boxes, etc.)? When I group objects including type and scale the box, the type size doesn't change to match.
  6. I've been going back and forth between AD and Sketch for a while now. I've got an M1 Mac, so my version of Illustrator (CS6) no longer works, and I refuse to pay Adobe's endless subscription fees to get the new version. To be fair, Sketch doesn't have a distortion option for type either, so I still have to rely on Photoshop for this. Sketch is a really great tool, but it has its own shortcomings, especially when it comes to text formatting.
  7. Yes, but I'm putting type on top of the photo. The type needs to remain editable. I'm working in Publisher, but this would apply to Designer as well.
  8. I was working on a photo today, and need to free-transform some type. I was surprised to find there is no free-transform tool! That's a pretty basic, necessary feature for a graphics program.
