This user is on iPad, which has a different way of storing Affinity files - whereby multiple documents can be 'open' at once on the homescreen (and are stored in a sandboxed environment), but cannot currently be 'closed' in bulk.
@SHOOTHAPPENS, I can confirm this is logged as a improvement with our developers and I'll be sure to 'bump' this for you now
