I would like to have a "perfect" brush, mainly for masking purposes. When I try to use the brushes listed under "masking", I am never able to get a full black on the first stroke. The brushes have been reinitialized, the color is a perfect black. On the screenshot, you can see the first and second masking brushes (soft and hard). The black stroke is made with an "ink" brush. I have triple-checked the settings, opacity, accumulation and flux are all on 100%. And anyway, I only use the default settings.

The default behaviour is really annoying, when you switch between tools using the keyboard and spend 1 minute wondering why the brush doesn't work as expected until you realize you are using the colour replacement brush...

It happens also for me when I use very large brushes (150px or more): no lag with the mouse but extreme lag with the tablet. If I use a 20px brush there is no lag. Wacom Intuos Pro M, Windows 10, Photo 1.10.4.1198

I don't know where to find "document setup", I set the bleed values in the bleed dialog (under "Document", just after "resize canvas"). I attached a .afphoto. My goal is to have a PDF with both bleed and cut guides. troubleshooting.afphoto

Hello, I'm having the same issue with PDF. When choosing the "ready for printing" preset, the bleed checkbox is checked (even if greyed out) but in the advanced menu it is unchecked and still greyed out, so as soon as I make a change in the settings, the bleed is disabled. My bleed guides are then printed outside the bleed, it's a bit useless Affinity Photo fo Windows 1.10.4.1198

Same, I would like the export to be set by default in the same folder as the .afphoto.

linked topic: when you resize the canvas to make it smaller, a previously added guide may appear outside the canvas. It is now impossible to either select or delete this guide.
