  1. Hi @NathanC An SVG file is a simple text file. You can open it with any text editor. I've check my exported files and there is no dpi information stored in it. So, I think Designer fall back to 72DPI when it does not know the value. I don't have access to the desktop version. Can you upload a exported files (or check in the text editor)? I think you are right, the iPad and the desktop version should output the same exact result. Stephane
  2. I'm using Designer to produce an SVG used by my CNC (Shaper origin). It requires a SVG file at 72 DPI. I'm using the Export function and set it at 72 DPI. However, Designer ignored the value and output everything at 300 dpi. I've included all the files showing the problem. Here the setting I've used. Dpi72.svg Dpi300.svg dpiIssue.afdesign
  3. Hi, I don't know if you've attempted to fix this issue, but in the current version, it"s worse. Seems there is no way to specify the dpi any more (you can but it is ignored. Stephane
  4. Hi Sean, you'r totally right. For some obscure reason, I assume the import was filling the selected Category. My bad. Thanks for clarifying this for me. Thanks! Stephane
  5. - Create a document with 2 artworks. - add a new vertical guideline into the second artwork - try entering manually the guide position. The guide is set to zero and is placed into the first guideline. I've attached a sample file. Thanks Stephane Untitled.afdesign
  6. If we import some style, leave the document and get re-open it. The style are gone. I've attached the style in case it's related Thanks Stephane Origin.afstyles
  7. Hi again, I made further test and I think I've figured out the issue. The bug is about the "use document resolution". When checked, it does not use the document dpi. It stays at 300 dpi(you can even tell from the ui). If I manually set the dpi to 72, the software work as expected. Note the issue is easier to see when I checking the "flatten transformation". I've attached, the ad file, the svg files and the export screen shot. Thanks! Stephane Affinity Photo Document.afphoto Force72dpi.svg UseDocumentResolution.svg
  8. Hi, I think I found the source. Checking "flatten transforms" seems to cause the issue. I've attached my files. Thanks Stephane Affinity Photo Document 2.afphoto Affinity Photo Document.afphoto
  9. The SVG export does not seem to properly take into account the DPI setting. I've make some test with 2 simple files. Both file contains a 30mm per 30mm rectangle. One was created at 72dpi and the second at 300dpi. I then export them as SVG using the Export command. I then opened them using a text editor to compare them. Both file are exactly the same. I also tried to specify the dpi in the export configuration. Nothing is changed. Looking at the number, it seems to be set all the time to 300 dpi I just purchase AD to work with my CNC and it requires the svg to be at 72dpi. This make AD useless for me. Stephane
