  1. I'm really disappointed that you don't want to read 1200 pages 😅 Yes, I'm currently using M1 Mac. So you do say that we could not find out where this issues really comes from at the moment, right? It could be MacOS with its magic file (which I still don't understand what it is good for), it could be the combination of M1 and PDFLib or it could be any (weird) specifications from Adobes PDF standards. Any possibilities that I missed? Didn't expect such a mess
  2. Thanks for this information. It wasn't clear for me that this causes the problem. As I'm not very familiar with this stuff (therefore I don't understand a single word on the GitHub page), can I fix this issue and how?
  3. Who else could do some fixes about an exported PDF file which shows a password protected info, but is also readable with no password required, than the software company which provides the program which causes this problem? There must be some bug within the export settings. Any other program exports PDF files without this info. So clearly it has something to do with Affinity. I'm no programmer or IT guy, so this is why I brought up this topic in here. What else is this forum about, if not for this kind of trouble?
  4. I'm running MacOS Big Sur 11.6 (20G165) and AD on 1.10.1. PDF is attached, but it isn't a specific one. Like I mentioned in my post before, every PDF which I export from AD no matter what preset I use is "faulty". Briefpapier-AD.pdf
  5. Hey @stokerg, sorry for the late response, I'm quite busy at the moment. I'm using the default settings and all of them give me a non-password-protected password-protected PDF file at the end. /Test-PDF/Digital-Hohe-Qualität.pdf: PDF document, version 1.7 (password protected) /Test-PDF/Digital-kleine-Größe.pdf: PDF document, version 1.7 (password protected) /Test-PDF/Druckerei-fertig.pdf: PDF document, version 1.7 (password protected) /Test-PDF/für-Druck.pdf: PDF document, version 1.7 (password protected) /Test-PDF/Für-Export.pdf: PDF document, version 1.7 (password protected) /Test-PDF/Reduzieren.pdf: PDF document, version 1.6 (password protected) /Test-PDF/X1-A-2003.pdf: PDF document, version 1.4 (password protected) /Test-PDF/X3-2003.pdf: PDF document, version 1.4 (password protected) /Test-PDF/X4.pdf: PDF document, version 1.6 (password protected) Those are all presets I can choose from in AD, nothing changed.
  6. Hey guys, I'm fairly new to Affinity Designer, but already accomplished some work with it. At the moment I'm struggling with the PDF export. I designed a template for invoices and this PDF is crashing the system of my service provider for my accounting. The IT guys checked my file and this is the information I've got: Briefpapier.pdf: PDF document, version 1.7 (password protected) I have double checked this in the terminal (mac user) with the command "file" which results in the same message. As far as I know is there no option in Designer to password protect your PDF files. My file can be opened with any PDF viewer without any password needed. So where is the catch? I have solved this problem with an online converter which provides password deleting, but this seems to be some kind of bug, which can be frustrating, if you don't know why some pdfs can't be used in some cases. Maybe some of you guys can help me out
