Yes, that’s what I do but when I used Illustrator I was able to resize and move at the same time. This made it easier and faster. I was hoping that AD had this function or at least had it in their sights for future updates.

In illustrator, when I created a circle for instance, I'm able to enlarge and move for placement at the same time ("i think using the space bar to move"). Is this possible with AD?

Thanks. I guess my concern is that if I take the afphoto document that I processed back into developer because I want to bring out more detail in shadows, would the details that were in the original raw file still be there or are they lost.

When working on a raw file in the developer persona then clicking develop, is the resulting .afphoto file compromised and no longer retains the raw data?

When I save tab/module custom presets do the presets also save the associated masks?

I was testing the masking function in developer raw file test shot and noticed a bug. When using mask brush in developer on my MacBook Pro, as soon as left click mouse and star to drag I get unwanted streak and have to erase. The erase also causes streak the same way. In the attachment below I'm starting on the upper right. I left click and start moving to the left. I get a streak moving verticaly. See below:

What’s the best file format to use to export a developed raw file from DarkTable to continue work on it in Affinity Photo. I’m thinking PDF but I’m not sure.

I use ProCamera on my iPhone and that lets you do exactly what you’re showing. It has some things I’m not crazy about but all in all It’s a great app. That’s the app I used that had the corrupted file. I contacted them about it and they are looking into it. It doesn’t happen all the time just once in a while. But yes, after you take the depth shot you can shift the focal point in the app. That’s one of the things that attracted me to ProCamera.
