Hi @oviquezr,
Welcome to the Affinity Forums
I can confirm there is already a beta release that has addressed this issue, and you should be able to load your documents here without the apps crashing!
Please download and install this beta alongside your retail version so that you have 2 versions of Publisher installed, then try loading the documents that are crashing in the beta. Do let us know how you get on here!
