Hi Walt, thanks for the quick reply. I'm wondering why the options are supposed to be not available in Photo and Designer but in both programs the "Textframe (Textrahmen)" button is available (independent if launched standalone or from Publisher as persona). In Windows versions of Photo and Diesigner the non functional button is always visible if I select the text on the path. Even if I hoover over the button the tooltip "function name" becomes visible. See pics attached. So you mean the actual bug is that the Textframe button is visible in Designer and Photo I would appreciate if Serif would follow your suggestion and enhance Photo and Designer.

Hi I own all three programs of Affinity (Photo, Designer, Publisher as German edition). Recently I created a document in publisher, in the designer persona I added a text on path. Unfortunately I was not able to activate the Textframe icon (Textrahmen). It is there but does not show any effect. View (Ansicht) -> Studio does not show Textframe as selectable option either. Same applies to Affinity Photo. It is independent if the program is launched standalone or from Publisher Persona. If the path on text is created in Publisher using Designer persona the text path is visible and can be adjusted only going back to in the Publisher persona. If using Publisher with active Photo persona it is not possible to create a path on text. If Designer or Photo launched standalone the path on text can be created as expected. Path is not shown but can NOT be manipulated in any way (i.e. made visible or changed in color). So only way would be here to somehow involve Publisher too. Versions are all latest 1.10.4.1198

Hello @Joachim_L thanks for your quick reply. I created several Master Pages to define the frame for the pictures on the calendar pages. With "apply master pages" (Masterseite anwenden) I assigned the different Master pages to the pages of the document. With 4 frames where I loaded a picture to each of them. The pciture I adjusted with Photo persona (e.g. in this case adaption of lights and shadows (Anpassung Schatten/Lichter). In the attached pic you can see the Master J and the layer area of the selected page 8 with assigned Master J (grey frame). So from my understanding it is not the Master page I try to edit here. Or am I wrong?? Thanks also for your "workaround" but this is also not working. Actually I always use double click. Since this is not working at all, I tried right mouse button (this shows the greyed out adjustment option .. which is also easier for documentation than a non working double click ). In my case the adjustment window is simply not opened. Neither if I stay in Publisher nor if I change to Photo persona. These actions are not visible in th protocoll. Only thing what happens: If I double click on the text of the adaption layer (where "(ANpassung - Schatten/Lichter" is shown) I could change the object name, however the name will be not visible. But this action is recorded in the protocol. BTW It does not matter if the Adaption layer is above or below the picture. Both can not be edited or disabled or deleted any more.

I own all three programs Designer, Photo and Publisher installed as German version I'm creating a calendar in Designer using different Master pages for picture frames on certain pages it is not possible to delete the frame content (i.e. the pictures) the right mouse button has grayed out options for delete if I change to Photo persona and add some adaption layers (e.g. for contrast/brightness or else) it is partly not possible to enable/disable them, I can not delete them and even changing the parameters is not possible) again the right mouse button has grayed out options for delete in all personas clicking the enable checkbox ("Ausblenden" in German) disables and immediately reenables the layer clicking the adjustment change option ("Anpassung bearbeiten" in German) has not effect I experienced this behaviour starting with my calendar around April with the up to date version at this time, it is still a problem in version 1.10.1.1142 Best regards, Jörg error_publisher.afdesign
