Just bought Affinity, in fact i was expecting DFX  and jump on Paypal   without second thought
Now, i need DXF export badly ...

DXF is needed! Please add it in for us as an export option. Would save me so much time switching between apps and tackling issues between them. PELASE!!!

Yes. Please add .DXF export. We engineers need it!!

...or Command+J, as usually in the Draw Persona.
 
 
Wow, I completely overlooked the "Export preset" part. Didn't know why, but I thought it was some image format configuration :wacko: This helps a lot!

Yes, pleas add DXF export features

I add my voice to the chorus calling for an option to export to dxf

The purposed is to import a SVG into a SolidWorks sketch, which requires DXF or DWG. Luckily I actually own a copy of Adobe Illustrator and I already have the work around...
The dumb part is that my old copy of Adobe Illustrator CS6 causes problems with my monitor calibration, and my entire monitor starts to flicker as soon as I run it, so I really don't like running it.
Inkscape also works but that's a last resort.
I really just want Affinity Designer to add DXF and DWG. I work with lasers, water jet, and die cutters frequently. Come on, feature parity with Adobe pretty much requires DXF + DWG import and export.

I really wonder why some actions do have shortcuts (Break curve, Join curve) and some don't (Smooth curve, Close curve)... 😧

I was trying to add a hotkey to Smooth Curve, but can not find it listed in the Preferences > Keyboard Shortcuts area.  Can this please be added?

Also, it would be nice to be able to hotkey Close Curve and Reverse Curve too.

I understood your post but I'm afraid there's no way to do what you want within the Affinity app with the current feature set. The only thing i can suggest is to create a thread in the Feedback section (if there isn't one requesting the same already) requesting the features you need as this is where the dev team/management keep an eye on when considering improvements/new features. Thank you for your feedback.
 

Your only option would be to use an OS level automation to replicate those mouse moves/clicks.
I've made something similar using AutoHotkey on Windows that opens the alignment panel, clicks "space vertically", enters the spacing amount and then clicks apply all from one keyboard press.

Not exactly a shortcut/1-click but may help:

+1 on this.

The work I do makes a lot of use of align to last selected.
Having to open the panel and then click the align button is a waste of my time.
Just have the align icons that can be separately added to the toolbar pick-up the align-to preference that is currently set in the alignment panel. 

Hello, I really like that there is an option to align to last selected object and for me it is one of the most used features, but I really wish that there was an option to set a shortcut for align to last selected. Right now shortcut only aligns to selection bounds and it doesn't take your settings in align panel into consideration.
So whenever I want to align to last selected object, I have to use the panel, which is much more time consuming than using shortcuts.
