  1. I agree with the previous postings. Document Title should be part of the Document Setup dialogue; and it should also be visible on Export to PDF. I just had to Google to find this thread, to figure out where to make the changes to get an appropriate title in my PDFs. Not intuitive!
  2. +1 please - searched for this feature and found this request. It's a must. V2.21?
  3. Late to this party as we have just hit this issue. If I remember correctly, CorelDraw had an option to import a PDF as curves, so it converted the embedded fonts to curves on import, giving a visually identical, but not editable, PDF page import. From what I can see, AP rasterises the 'Placed' PDF which mostly looks OK, but doesn't seem to be as efficient a solution to importing PDFs without their fonts. I have found an option in Foxit PDF Editor to convert a PDF to curves: Edit Object > Text > Select text strings (Ctrl+A to select all) > Convert to Shape - but it would be nice to have that as an option on PDF import into AP.
  4. Can't give you a specific solution but we had the same issue with a 24-page document in Publisher 2. After much selective page publishing (first half, three-quarters etc) we traced the issue to a particular page that caused the error, then started deleting parts of the page until it would publish, and found that the problem lay at a particular line return. We then recalled that that line had been copied in from an MS Word doc. So we copied the whole section out to a text editor, then copied it back in from the text editor (which strips out any hidden formatting). Suddenly all OK and publishing to PDF no problem. So I can only suggest that kind of detective work to see if there is a particular point in the document (probably hidden formatting) which is causing the issue.
  5. Considering the way the Affinity suite straddles pixel / vector imaging, that's a bit of an omission. Hopefully it will be added in a future update.
