A useful alternative would be to have a "custom rotate" tool in the Document menu.

Will this be incorporated in an update? I feel this is an essential feature when straightening/leveling an image.

When straightening an image, selection of crop tool overlays a grid, subsequently activating straighten removes the grid. Is there away to retain the grid whilst straightening?
