  1. I send a TIFF to Affinity from DXO Photolab In Affinity, I process and then use Save As to save an Affinity File No thumbnail is created until I close the Affinity image. Is this by design? Causes issues with the DAM I use!
  2. Since upgrading to Affinity Photo 2, I no longer see thumbnails in of my images in Windows 11. How do I get these displaying again?
  3. Thanks markw. Not sure how I missed that. Think the new interface confused me.
  4. In Affinity version 2 the overlay text is not displaying. What could be causing this. See images attached.
  5. 1. Does this mean I will be able to send an image from dxo photolab to Affinity 2 when you provide this fix like I can with affinity 1? 2. Will this fix be out before my trial ends? 3. Will you offer another trial if fix out after trial ends? 4. Will the fix come out before your promotional pricing ends?
  6. Just installed trial for Affinity Photo 2, I use DXO Photolab for Raw processing and Photools imatch as a Dam. I need to be able to send images from both these applications to Affinity. From what I have read, this is not possible with Affinity 2. Downloaded the Affinity 2 Suite trial before buying. Glad I did because I won't be purchasing until this bug is fixed. I did want to support Affinity development but unfortunately, Affinity 2 is unusable in its current state. Are Affinity releasing a bug fix in the near future and will the special offer be available once the bug is fixed? I've owned Affinity Photo for a while but only bought Designer and Publisher a few months ago.
  7. Thanks. Do most people develop in Affinity or develop in DXO Photolab and send a 16 bit TIFF to Affinity, wondering whether Photolab is better e.g for lens correction and / or Deep Prime noise reduction. And is there a difference saving the TIFF with Affinity layers and saving as an afphoto
  8. Trying to get my head round Affinity workflow. I did read this old thread Workflow of raw files in Affinity Photo and wondering whether there are any work arounds for these scenarios. 1. Edit RAW file in Affinity Develop Module Make further changes in Affinity Photo Module Find I need to make further changes to the RAW image Is there a workaround to keep the work I have done or do I have to dump the Affinity work and start from scratch 2. Similar question if I process a RAW image in DXO Photo Lab and then send it to Affinity and after processing in Affinity find I need to make changes to the RAW image in Photolab.
  9. Sorry I didn't make myself clear. I know how to set pressure sensitivity, I have it set to high. When I start Affinity, the pressure sensitivity on the brush does not work. I have to click the icon in the attached screenshot. Now when I increase pressure, the brush draws a thicker line. When I start Affinity again, the icon has defaulted to off. How do I set it so that it stays on.
  10. Hi, currently trialling Affinity, coming from CS6. Using an XP-Pen pen and tablet, I start Affinity and have to click the icon in the tool bar to turn on pen pressure sensitivity. Next time I start Affinity I have to click the icon again. Is it possible to make this setting sticky?
