  1. Walt I'm using Publisher 2.11 on a Mac I'm using the built in Bullet 1 text style. I've been working on this document on and off for 9 months... I can't remember if I changed the settings or not. I'm showing another screen shot hoping that will help.
  2. Hello all, I'm trying to do what should be a simple thing - aligning text in a bulleted list where the bullet has 2 or more lines of text. I am using Text Styles. I have taken 2 screen shots. Please advise! This should be easy, but I'm struggling with it. Thanks in advance, Brenda
  3. Ok, how do I get the Numbered List paragraph style out of the TOC? How did that happen? The first example is the V2.1 updated TOC. The second example is what it looked like prior to the revise/update. I am not sure where to go to fix it. Thanks Brenda
  4. I updated Publisher to 2.1 this morning. I am working on a lengthy Procedures Manual. I made a few edits. I added 1 new page.I then updated the TOC and now there are page number preceding the chapter and sections. I know there is a toggle on/off for NUMBERS BEFORE HEADINGS in the TOC management window. It does nothing. The selection is set to off. Tried toggling and nothing changes.Help please!
  5. Maybe it's user error. I cannot see the Text Wrap Window. I have restarted Publisher thinking that might help, but it did not. I am trying to place the image "Dashboard" and I would like the text to wrap with more air on the left side of the image. I'm attaching a screen shot. Help please.
  6. I am having no luck playing nicely with the TOC in Publisher. The TOC is 4 pages long at this stage. The document is a company procedure manual. The document is just over 100 pages. I thought I understood what needed to be done to work with a TOC. So far the TOC is missing headers that should be showing up. There are also headers showing in places they shouldn't. In the attached screen shot the "SECTION 1: THE BASICS" should at the top of the 1's. Show is just one example. There are other similar issues throughout. Also, I didn't notice until now, but are there supposed to be TOC 1 : Entry and TOC 1: Number? I'm certain whatever is wrong is user error. I was a Quark user for years, then InDesign, and now trying to get used to Publisher. Help appreciated. If I need to share more, I am happy to do so. thanks in advance
  7. I am converting from Adobe to Affinity. Former Graphic Desinger, now own a Boarding Kennel.... When I print documents from Publisher to the printer, the pages have a super subtle tiny gray dot pattern in the background. It's driving me crazy. I can't figure out how to get rid of that. Help please! Thanks, b.howardbloo
