  1. Thank you everyone!  With your help I have also tried the following:

    1. Created a rectangle and duplicating it twice.
    2. Snapped them together to create a larger rectangle.
    3. Filled each small rectangle with a different colour.
    4. Select All
    5. Add+ (pressed for a bit longer than a quick tap).  This made a Compound group.
    6. Created a circle and dragged it over the stripes.  Snapped it to the top and bottom stripe borders.
    7. Select All
    8. Tapped "Intersect".

    Voila....circular flag.  ; )

  2. Hi, I've tried creating a circular flag with black outer border using Affinity Designer for the iPad.  Like the Netherlands flag.  Three horizontal coloured stripes...red, white and blue, but in a circle.  Watched tutorials on the Web, unfortunately nothing seems to give me the result that I'm looking for.  Definitely missing something, but for the life of me I can't figure it out.  Would greatly appreciate any assistance?  Thanks.
