Yeah Im not a professional graphic designer either.I did the gradient that way due to the fact that most references have that light to dark order although they’re mostly in the synthwave style which I’m trying to avoid.I was more wondering there was a noticeable difference between the colors in the Beach letters as there is in the Club.The blues were easier to make a clear distinction between color but I don’t know if it’s clear that with the oranges.I could clearly see it when I had them in the color palette but when I added them to the letters not so much.I also didn’t want to go too dark with the bottom .

I am doing more experimenting with text and I’m not sure if this text came out right.It’s a test for a series of 80’s style lettering designs.I’m wondering if anyone has any critique as far as the gradient or the text placement.
