  1. You are my heroe baby! I worked with the standard color profile of the documents and did'nt mentioned that at all. Now I fixed all profiles to the same and the colors fit!
  2. @Old Bruce Yes, that is what I do. I use global colors with eg 80k in the Publisher doc. The text what is directly inside the document is complitly fine and 80k when I check the pdf in Designer for example. The problem is about embeded / linked Designer docs. I do also use only black there and global color, but when I export it, the color is mixed up in cmyk. All the documents I use are in cmyk color format. So, I don't know why the colors of the linked /embeded objects are not only in black but in cmyk.
  3. I already did that for sure. Exported and opened it in greyscale, but it did'nt work. For example the text is 80 k in the publisher doc and its's profile is grey and the export color is also grey. I open it in publisher or photo than, also in grey than the colors are mixed of cmyk. What's the best way in the affinity world to read the real colors of a document? Never had a problem like this with adobe for example.
  4. Hello Affinity user, I have a problem with creating a pdf from a publisher doc only in black for book pages. Maybe it's only the way I have to read it, I don't know. At all I use different Designer documents with Icons inside the publisher doc. The objects inside only using black. No C, no M, no Y. Only E. G. 0 | 0 | 0 | 80. The text is also only in K. Whatever I do, whatever color profile I do use, when I open it in photo or designer the colors are all mixed in cmyk. Do you have a save workflow what profiles and color spaces I have to use, export and open? Unfortunately I don't have Acrobat anymore and do not know a worth replacement. I also noticed that I can not align color profiles wether in Designer or Publisher. When I click on assign and OK, the option keeps still on convert. Thanks and best regards Markus
  5. Thank you very much for that lesson. I decided for myself to use an artistic text and set them to text wrap. So I can put the headlines onto the text boxes and it will automaticly push the copy text away without making manuell brakes. Best regards Markus
  6. Definitely I'll suggest the function that you can push first chars of a textbox to the left soon. Walt, I know what you want to tell me, but I don't have the practical knowledge to pin these Artic Text into to the textbox. Maybe you have a little tip to change that.
  7. Hello Garry, thank your for this information, that's good to know. That would be similar like I mentioned it in my post before, with a own box. Unfortunatly is it not working if you use a textbox with a lot of pages, text and headlines together. Maybe one time they will create an artistic textbox you can use as an usual text box. Best regards Markus
  8. Hello Walt, that's much more complicated than just press "Option" + "left" like in Indesign, but it works 😀 Thank for your declaration, I got it now, but maybe it's easier to put these headline in a separate box and move them to the left. 😉 Not the clean version but i'ts also working. Best regards Markus
  9. First, thanks for your post. It sounds like a global changing for these chars for me. In fact I only want to move the first chars they aren't in a line with the others to the left, but that doesn't work in publisher. With Indesign for example it's a standard feature. I'm usining affinity publisher for my first project now. If you you compare the screen of my first post to these, maybe it's more clean what I mean.
  10. Hello everybody, do someone know how I can bring the first letters of a text field more to the left? The letterspacing is working at all, but not for the first letters in a text box to the left. For Example a big I (like Indian) is not in a line together with the letter below. Do someone have a work arround for that issue, please? Thanks and best regards Markus
