Thank you; using CTRL in Pixel Persona works fine.

When I select a curve/shape and then go to the Pen Tool, there is no option to create a selection on the Context Tool Bar. If I press CTRL and click on the icon in the layer panel it doesn't create a selection. How do I fix this or create a selection from a curve/shape some other way?

I found the solution; first I closed all internet browsers, then tried signing in from the My Account icon in Affinity Designer again. It worked, and I was able to register the product.

What does that mean, "Cancel post-figured it out"? I still can't register Affinity Designer.

Reset Internet Explorer and made sure Affinity Designer was white-listed and links still don't work. Isn't there a direct link to the register web page I can use to bypass the welcome screen?

So, isn't there a way to register the product by going direct to the website?

I am using Windows 10; the only firewall I'm using comes with Windows 10. I turned this firewall off and still couldn't register. As I noted above, I also have Affinity Photo installed and was able to register it with no problem. The only real problem here is not being able to register Affinity Designer; the links to tutorials and whatever not working (they don't work in Affinity Photo, either) is not of any real concern because I can go straight to those links on the internet.

Can not register Affinity Designer. I click on My Account, then Register Now, then Open sign-in page, then Complete sign-in, and I get an error screen: We're sorry Something went wrong during registration or sign in Server reported error (code 400.registration.complete:session- not-valid): Unknown error 400.registration.complete: session- not-valid[trace: EROE1P58DZM6H96B6] If I open Affinity Photo and go to My Account it shows that I have downloaded the textures and brushes that come with Affinity Designer, but my Downloads and product keys page on store.serif.com says "You will receive this free kit automatically when you register your app after install" next to all of these products. What now? How do I register Affinity Designer?
