  1. This is fun. I was tasked with drawing a rocket for a project, so i made it reference the Beastie Boys. I love messing around like this.
  2. Thanks. Here is the file if you want to look. It was done in beta 2.2 so you will need that to open it. Done in designer on desktop and ipad. You will see its nothing fancy, I am not that great at vector. shipipad beta full pic.afdesign
  3. I saw this model in an antique shop, and thought it would be a good challenge to do in vector. It wasn’t until I took a better look, and started vectoring, that I realised how much work must have gone into the model, for what was probably a cheapish souvenir.
  4. Thanks for your help guys. I actually have a Wacom intuos pro drawing tablet, and they are available on it. I didn't even know.
  5. Thanks, someone on another forum said it might be a Wacom thing. They look damn useful though.
  6. Hi Just seen this and while I was watching, I noticed that there were some little shortcut windows, which I have circled in the image. Is this an option in affinity, and if so how do you make these, or is it some external software connected to affinity? Thanks in advance.
  7. Nice video, and I am very interested in these shortcut buttons. How do I go about making these?
  8. It’s awesome that you have posted the prototypes. I did download these from your Gumroad, but I must of lost them when I updated to version 2, and couldn’t for the life of me find the file to import these brushes in my iCloud. The other pack I believe is included in the quick kit deluxe 3.4, which I have. thank you for your generosity.
  9. These were both done on Designer ipad version 1. I was studying metallic shine and reflection.
  10. Thanks for your reply. I can see how this may help in some circumstances, but may look a little unnatural in others.
  11. Thanks for your reply. I have a xp-pen 24 artist pro. Although I think it has the tilt function, it doesn’t seem to help in this situation. It may be the fur brush that I am using.
  12. Mainly the paint brush tool in Affinity Photo. However, i also use vector in Designer, so I am open to any shortcuts you may have. I have changed the title of the post to specify Affinity Photo.
  13. I use the arrow keys a lot for rotating my brushes, but it can be time consuming, especially when trying to do two sides of something equally. You have to press an arrow key quite a number of times to get the same opposite angle. I would love a flip brush horizontally, and vertically. Does this exist? an example of what I mean: I am currently painting a gorilla. The hairs on both sides are at similar angles, but opposite. To be able to flip the brush, and then fine tune with the arrows, would be a massive time saver.
  14. Yes I would love a ruler too. When you think of everything this app can do, yet they can’t or won’t include something so simple.
  15. Yes it happened to me again the other night. Fortunately it was on a large fill area, and so was easy to rectify.
  16. I also have had the dreaded block appear whilst working that can’t be undone. The only way to get rid is to paint over it. It has happened while drawing a picture, and when erasing a background in a photo. Fortunately for me my work isn’t as detailed as the op, but it’s still damn annoying.
