I turned minimum thread resolution for the vertical and horozontal threads up to 128 each and now I have what I want. And I set target material scale to 100. firstdefence and Pixelpest, it looks like the"the black areas of the mask will be the horizontal strands and the white areas will be the vertical." How does he do that?

At the 2:38 minute mark he talks about a custom weave. Can this be created in Photo or Designer and then be imported into the generator? Thanks
