Thank you thank you - Been looking for this for a while. I want to roll back so badly. 2.5.anything is a mess. I miss the old days. Bigger is not better always. This will not allow me to upload the 2.4 version - only the latest version.

i am still having issues as well and have been going back and forth. I would desperately like to roll back to 2.3 as well and wanted to know if that original question answered??? Here we are at 2.5.3 and it has just gotten worse.

The only thing that worked for me was to revert to the previous version. I am patiently waiting for a more stable update.

What is your operating system and version : Windows 11, Is hardware acceleration (in Preferences > Performance) ON or OFF ? (and have you tried the other setting?) Turned off and same result. What happened for you (and what you expected to happen). Most of my other files will open, but a VERY important one tries to open and then CRASHES the entire program. Provide a recipe for creating the problem (step-by-step what you did). Screenshots (very handy) or a screen capture/video. No shots, it just closes Any unusual hardware (like tablets or external monitors or drives that may affect things) or relevant other applications like font managers or display managers. Did this same thing used to work and if so have you changed anything recently? (software or hardware). I have not tried to open since the V2.1 upload. I created all 287 pages in the original program. I opened it and saved in new version so it will not open in V1 anymore. (new features) I rolled back to 2.2 and it opened, therefore I am going to leave it at the prior version.

this is one of the biggest things i keep waiting for on the upgrades. i have 3 things and none of them have happened yet. Oh well

Hi there, I am really interested in this and still can't figure out. Hoping the new version V2 had addressed it but can't figure out how to do it. Arrg. I too was a diligent PagePlus (10 yrs) user and the move was a big difficult but i do really love Affinity but the curve was something for me. Here's hoping its here somewhere. Still lots for me to learn even at least a year later.

i too am devastated. I made a change (masters related) saved and closed after a 18 hour day and alas - so much progress I have worked for on my 162 page doc is gone. I have a backup from 7/4/2021 and a printed copy from 8/12/2021 but I am really heartbroken. I had done so much work and have no idea how to get it back if i ever can. So should save with History just be the DEFAULT save feature? This is a creative work and I am not feeling well so I am not sure if I will ever be able to actually recreate it but it will take me at least 2 weeks to try to get close to where I was. Appreciate the feedback.

the master was referenced in step 1 and 2. I cannot link boxes to the next pages because it will not show. I watched the video several times and tried to follow your instructions as well.

Pages Master Pages

i thought that would work as well but on the masters I do not have the same flow as the regular pages. It only allows me to have 1 spread at a time - regardless of zoom. I am hoping i have setting wrong. Thanks for your patience.

I def would like this AND "paste format" features.

forgive my ignorance, I cannot do this because I cannot figure out how to show the more than one spread on my workspace. What am I missing please and thank you.

I, too am in this same situation and have not yet seen a satisfying response. *I would also love to see the above mentioned Master Page Overview. 1. I most often use my masters as added and therefore would like to option to choose to remove the default of replace. Without this I cannot figure out how to just drag and drop. 2. I am building a workbook with several types of page structures and each page may have up to 6 masters and to have to CLEAR them, or delete the entire original master page is not practical. Understanding the limitations - I can see that is our existing workaround, but; it would be very helpful to add this feature in the future. Thanks BTW - appreciate the above tips - does make things a bit more manageable

Thank you it does. That same icon in the combined grouping (or any other) does not function the same. Hope this updates in the future or at least the graphic. Appreciate it.
