I checked Preferences;General and the thumbnail option was checked. I am just saving them in a folder that I saved to my desktop. 😔

When I save a file, there is only an Affinity Designer icon showing. Is there a way to save files so that I can actually see the image?

I changed the "view" in the folder, and still just icons.
And to respond to the next advice: I'm not 100% sure that these are not on One Drive, but I don't think so.....?
