  1. Converting the PDFs to JPEGs seems to have solved the problem, but I don't understand this because previous versions of my document had the same PDF files in and I didn't have the same problem.
  2. I am still having issues with files sizes. I have rebuilt my 20 page document from scratch, saving as a new document at every stage to try to isolate the issue. I was trundling along at about 1MB to 2MB when I added half a dozen pictures in PDF format (about 400kB each) and the document shot up to 30MB. My document set up is on millimetres as units, 300 DPI, and preferred linked. Even if I knock the DPI down to 192 the file size is around 20MB. It just doesn't make sense that the size has rocketed after adding a few small images. What am I doing wrong?
  3. No, I have always had the Save History disabled i.e. there is no tick against that option under File.
  4. It just seems to get bigger and bigger whether I add material or remove material. I have just done as you suggested (save it as a new file name) and the file size stayed the same.
  5. I am running Affinity publisher on a laptop with windows. I have a 20 page file I use as a template. All photos are linked. I have noticed that the file sizes just get bigger and bigger when I save the document. I am now up to 60MB. I have just opened the template, deleted a page or two and a load of photos, saved it and the file size went up!!! What is causing this?
