[Designer crashes when I try to place a .tif file in the document]

[Designer crashes when I try to place a .tif file in the document]

I am new to the Affinity software and I am using the trial version. I am trying to add a tif file to a Designer project but as soon as I click on the file that I want to place on the open document, designer crashes. It does not gives me a log of the crash, it just simply closes up. This does not happens if I try to place jpg or pdf files.
