  1. I agree. I barely use the export page because most of the times, the whole document is what I need. But the moment I need to export just a part of an 'artwork', but a very specific one, I cannot just snap-select an element to be exported. So I end up creating a new document with the exact measurements and copy and pasting (and here snapping it into position) in the new document. And while I partly like the Affinity programs for not having an unnecessary feature for everything and instead letting the user do it through workarounds that are actually faster than using a special tool like that, this wouldn't be an unnecessary. It would be a small but convenient addition. As well as the other mentioned tweaks.
  2. Hi there, Backstory: When I created a curve with a brush (in Affiniy Designer) I had to realize that the exported svg was basically an pixel image wrapped into a svg file. After finding out that the brushes where (and custom brushes had to be) a png, as well as the svg format-'technology' seemingly not having a feature for custom brush-strokes, it made sense. But obviously, I use vector tools for a reason, so I would be very interested in seeing the following feature being added to Affinity Designer: Be able to import svg as brushes and be able to export a curve with brush that is entirely vector graphic (or maybe even keeping it two different curves inside the svg? one as the actual path?). In addition to this having the default brushes as curves, or maybe something like this would be helpful. Thanks.
