  1. Thank you for your help. I can't find a Hide option or Moderator Actions pull-down, so the post will seem to have to stay (and show my inability to understand the documentation) until someone else with the permissions could hide it.
  2. Thank you for clarifying. I understand my misinterpretation of the Exclude from Snapping now. As for the other issue of alt-dragging, the operation is not clear on the documentation as there is no mention of the order in which alt and click-drag is performed. I'll try to delete these posts now. Thanks again.
  3. OS: Mac OS 10.11.6 El Capitan Publisher 1.9.3 Selecting 'Exclude Snapping' on an image within a Picture Frame will still cause it to snap to guides -- it will simply exclude it from being a snapping candidate when other objects are being moved. To prevent it from snapping to other objects to smoothly reposition, click-drag the Picture Frame content and then press the alt/option key -- pressing the alt/option key before starting the click-drag will not have the same effect, causing a duplicate of the image content in another layer.
  4. OS: Mac OS 10.11.6 El Capitan Affinity Publisher 1.9.3 Temporarily overriding snapping (for smooth repositioning of an image within a Picture Frame) using the Mac alt key only seems to work only if the alt key is pressed after the mouse key is pressed to click-drag the content (Picture Frame image content scaling property set to None). If the alt key is pressed before the mouse key is pressed, a duplicate of the image is created in another layer upon releasing the mouse key. This is not clear in the help guide.
