  1. I would also be interested in this functionality. I don't need to mask or clip the images - I would like to use the frame tool to scale the images to the desired size and position in the canvas. It's really easy to do this in Affinity Publisher but I can't see a similar tool in Photo.
  2. Thanks to everyone who has replied! I stand corrected. I see there are some good use cases for Master Pages defaulting to the bottom. Now I know how to change it when I need to, I should be able to save a lot of time. Thanks!
  3. Thanks for the swift reply! I will try this out, thanks! I wonder why it defaults to putting Master Page content below other content. I can't think of a use case for that behavior.
  4. Hi, I sometimes need to import a PDF into Affinity Publisher and then add things like page numbers. When I do this, the page numbers appear below the existing pages from the PDF, which are opaque. I then go through each page and manually select it, and send it to the back to get the page number to show. The best I can find to make this faster is that I can select both pages in a spread at a time, but no more than that. Is there any other way to ensure all the page numbers appear on top, either by default or in one global operation? Thanks in advance for any tips or help you might be able to offer! Ben
  5. Totally agreed - I'm amazed there isn't an option to set these preferences for all projects. Not just pages/spreads but also the DPI (which seems to default to 72 instead of 300) as well. I felt sure there must be a way to set these defaults but I googled it and found this thread. Amazing. Hopefully the devs review these forums and add feature requests to their roadmap?
  6. That's done the trick, thank you! I didn't have the option for final forms so I updated the app and there it was! Gotta remember to keep it up to date in future. Thanks so much for the help @firstdefence !
  7. I'm sorry if this has been asked before. I have tried searching and have found similar issues but don't think I've seen exactly this question before (probably because it's so basic). I am having difficulty with text in Affinity Publisher. Specifically, the font Old Pines. It has lots of alternative glyphs, which is great, but for this project I only want to use the standard ones. However, Publisher is automatically selecting non-standard glyphs for the last letter of each word. I have tried amending it using the Glyph Browser but that doesn't seem to do anything in these cases (also, I'd rather not have to do that for every word individually). Is there any way to get Publisher to use the standard glyphs in all cases in a document or page? Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.
