[Print engine still not usable.]

The long-standing problem of not being able to print from the entire Affinity still exists. Please fix this. A program without the ability to print is completely useless. Printing is a waste of time and often expensive paper and ink. How come you released another version without testing the basic functionality. I have three printers (HP, EPSON and CANON) and I see that the problem is not with the printer drivers, but with Affinity. As from the beginning, Affinity adds a white margin on two edges.

With V2 I have only bought Photo for now, so I'm leaving this thread here.

When do you plan to enable printing from Affinity, or when will you remove printing from the menu altogether? For now, this PRINT is just a fake.

You are a Star, Master of the Anfinity universe! It works, I can manually correct the plugins list. I have already found a problem with file permissions. AP, I don't know why yet, but it only has the ability to read this file. Either way, that's not a problem with this topic.

[Affinity Photo plugins configurations file]

Hi nice people.

Please tell me in which specific file on disk AP stores its plug-in list. I don't mean access from the "Preferences" menu. I need to edit the file with the list of plugins declared in the preferences menu. The problem is I can't add any new plugins. After selecting the plug-in folder, the AP closes without any message. On a different user profile, on the same computer (Windows 10), the problem does not occur. Reinstalling the system or my entire user profile is out of the question right now. All that is left for me to do is to manually manipulate the configuration file. Maybe, knowing which file it is, I can find out in the Windows logs why the error occurs. Now I don't know what to look for (and where)?
The question is simple: in which file on disk does the AP store information about plugins that must be run/loaded at program startup?

Did you find in Help what I'm asking? I haven't found it. As you have probably noticed above, we already know that this functionality is not present in AP. The topic is exhausted unless you have a way to override this feature. Maybe a macro?

Serif has transferred a huge amount of solutions from previous Plus programs to Affinity. There is a switch in PhotoPlus that I am talking about. I hope it's transferred. Then, maybe someone knows where it can be found in the AP options (or knows 100% that it is not there). When I am sure that I am looking for non-existent functions, I will definitely propose changes with an appropriate application.

How to make a REAL crop in Affinity Photo? AP remembers all of the original canvas, which is super annoying . Many effects (maybe even all of them) are rendered from the original entire canvas, not the crop area. For example: this is the case with the mirror effect. It is centred but relative to the centre before the crop (of course we can move the kaleidoscope point). To render the reflection, graphic areas are used that are no longer present on the canvas !!! PhotoPlus started with the idea of remembering the original canvas, there was an option to uncheck it. It should be similar in AP, I have no idea where?
