When using the Patch or Inpainting tools, most noticeably at edge of document, the result is blurred or blended, unclear effect. How do I make it not do this, to get a clear result?

How do I open a new blank tab in order to drag & drop a new image to begin work, when an existing tab is already open, like can be done when starting Affinity. I seem to be stuck with presets or specific dimensions when selecting 'New' to work on another image, and even then that is not a layer that I can delete.

Affinity Photo - Is it possible to set an exact zoom level as a percentage, rather than the jumps that are made automatically by ctrl/mouse wheel?

Affinity Photo - after rotating an image a little, the cropping grid is also rotated. What if I want the cropping grid to be horizontal/vertical despite the rotation of the image? How do I do this?
