  1. Thanks for your very helpful reply! I'll play around with those ideas. I'm not sure why A.Photo works this way without any way to say I don't want the soft blurring effect. Thanks for the advice, and taking the time!
  2. When using the Patch or Inpainting tools, most noticeably at edge of document, the result is blurred or blended, unclear effect. How do I make it not do this, to get a clear result?
  3. Great! Simple, I never discovered dragging to the grey workspace! And 'open with' is certainly an option. Thanks for the advice!
  4. How do I open a new blank tab in order to drag & drop a new image to begin work, when an existing tab is already open, like can be done when starting Affinity. I seem to be stuck with presets or specific dimensions when selecting 'New' to work on another image, and even then that is not a layer that I can delete.
  5. Huh! Well that's great. Thank you for taking the time to demonstrate that!
  6. Thanks for your reply. (So rotate with the move tool is the solution).
  7. Affinity Photo - Is it possible to set an exact zoom level as a percentage, rather than the jumps that are made automatically by ctrl/mouse wheel?
  8. Affinity Photo - after rotating an image a little, the cropping grid is also rotated. What if I want the cropping grid to be horizontal/vertical despite the rotation of the image? How do I do this?
  9. Affinity Photo - Could some kind person tell me why, after resizing image and/or document to say, 20mm * 20mm and zooming to 100%, the image is much bigger than those dimensions?
