  1. I'm suspicious that I do have a firewall running on my Work Wi-Fi connection. When I start up your app the Welcome Screen comes with a "BLOCKED" message from my IT department. -- TIM
  2. Sorry, I'm confused. I purchased the Universal License from the website. Can I download trial versions from the App Store and activate them? I always get "There was a problem communicating with the server". -- Tim
  3. I definitely want to draw attention to this. I see it as a huge flaw that needs to be addressed. There needs to be a distinct difference between embedding and linking graphics and that difference should be reflected in the file size as well.
  4. Well I'm another who wants threaded text boxes in Designer. If I'm doing a poster with plenty of graphics I want to edit. It might have three or four text boxes I want to look balanced (equal depth, etc). It's much easier when the text flows from box to box as I vary the size of the boxes all without leaving the Designer app. TIM
  5. Summer solstice: June 21, 2018 at 10:07 UTC (11:07 BST) .... errr... just wanted to put that out there.... grin....
  6. Nope, there is nothing in the Welcome Screen. Reinstalling and changing language defaults make no difference. Some of us work in huge organizations with little control over network antivirus protection and firewalls. So if this is a necessity then I guess Mac Users like me are Sh... Out of Luck.
  7. I'm a Mac User. Apps have been purchased from Mac App Store So I set up an account at Affinity Store I went to: https://affinity.store/en-us/account/downloads/ When will links for the free content ever appear here? All I see is "You have no digital product orders".
  8. Bump! A feature I would appreciate. Does Designer differentiate between soft returns and paragraph returns? This is a must for editing bulleted lists. TIM
  9. I create a printer postscript file (.ps) with Apple's preview app. Then open that file in Designer.
  10. 5 months later--a new version of Designer.... and ugh still no picas. Yep, but "yards" is still there.
  11. Request for pica units for me as well. It would certainly be more useful to me than "yards".
