Hi DM1, thanks. I was looking for the option panel, not the tool itself. In the last my attachment you can see an highlighted button (desktop version of AD) that opens a control panel named "Cornice di testo" (italian translation for "Text Frame"). It allows to modify fill and stroke colors of a textbox. It's been confirmed in another post it's there by mistake (a bug) and for sure not present in AD iPad version. ☹️

It's just as you said, Walt. Thank you for this information. That's too bad, I think a basic control for fill/stroke in text boxes should be available in this kind of software. I hope they'll place it officially one day. Thank you both for your time. 👋😊

Hello everyone, I'm posting about something that confuse me in Affinity Designer. On almost every graphic software you can assign a fill color o stroke color to a text box. AD can do it too,... but in very odd way. If you create a text on path with "Artistic Text tool" the button to open the panel (or studio) "Text Frame" is visible in the option text bar (see attachment). But this button is not available if you use "Text Frame tool" o "Artistic Text tool" without a text on path. If you close the Text Frame studio panel by mistake and previously used it, all new text boxes will come with last colors used (see second attachment) and the only way to adjust it is to create a new text on path to reopen the option panel. Is that a bug? thanks.

Yes, see attachment. Now, I closed the panel and I don't remember where I found it. I thought it was in the text option bar... EDIT: I found it. (new attachment) It only appears when you select a text on path made with artistic tex tool. I think it's a "bug" because a text frame need to be edited the same way. That's very disappointing. The iPad app is hard to use and poorly intuitive compared to other vector competitor. Then if there aren't available the basic drawing feature for all element... ☹️ Thank you for your time.

Hello everybody, I bought yesterday Affinity Designer for iPad and working on a file I've done in Affinity Designer for desktop. In this file I have several text boxes with custom fills and strokes and texts on path. In Affinity Designer iPad version I did't find the options for "Text Frame" (see the example pict, it's in italian but it's about "text frame" option in desktop version). Can anyone help me to find it? Thank you.

Hi, I searched on the forum and internet before posting but I didn't found anything so... I'm trying to create a brochure on Publisher but I'm making the cover drafts in Designer. I've imported the Designer file on Publisher as image but it shows me only the first page. I cannot shift the content from its container to reveal other pages. Double clicking on the image the Designer file is opened inside a Publisher window but I don't know if there's a way to control the page view from it. Any suggestion? -EDITED 5 minutes after- Sorry for bothered this forum. I've found the menu to manage the multiple pages of a linked Designer file (see the attachment). I already love Publisher. You guys rock! P.s. Let me know if I must delete the post if useless...

Hi guys, first of all I really love your apps. I have a question about selecting object in AD. I don't know if I do something wrong or it's a bug of my copy but sometimes when I try to select an object that is close to others I can't do it or the app select another object. I tried it with and without checking the "Edit all layers" option but nothing changed. Hi everybody, congratulations for your awesome software. I love it and I expect great things from it in the future. I hope you'll add the possibility to change the rulers origins (point 0) and to manage more pages but one thing I miss most is the shape fusion (see attachment). Will you implement it?
