  1. Thanks, I didn't see the FAQ. It is quite reasonably priced so I'm OK with the new license.
  2. Will there be an update for V2 from V1 or will we need to purchase a new license?
  3. No. For a while I had downgraded to a Polaris (RX580) and it works fine. I'm back to a Navi based AMD card (RX5500XT) and no work. I think it's probably not going to ever work at this point. Older, Polaris based cards work fine though.
  4. Affinitiy Photo is looking good. It has come a long way. To get to the next level I would suggest and request that you work on conext-sensitive right-click menu options pariticularly within the layer flyout. In short, mirror Adobe Photoshop context menus. I work much harder in Affinity because right-click context menus are drastically les suseful.
  5. You could be right; I'd have to scroll through all the messages to know for sure. But with the older card you have, that one doesn't look like it has DX12 support.
  6. Right now it is turned off at the software level for AMD. Until Affinity says it is now working and supported on AMD, there's nothing users can do.
  7. Just thought I'd post that current AMD drivers for the 6000 series run the Luxmark OpenCL benchmark with no issue. Coding OpenCL is specialized and definitely not easy. Given the excellent value Affinity Photo presents, I'm just happy you guys continue to work on it. Thanks.
  8. Thanks everyone. I'm good with knowing it's the software. And GPUs are in tight supply right now. It is unfortunate but I'm sure it will be worth the wait.
  9. That is incorrect, the help article is old as it was clearly written before the 6000 series which supports not only 12, but 12.1, and 12.2. But I do see Affinity says there is a bug. They say it is in AMD's driver, but who knows, it may be in Affinity code. All that matters is it doesn't work and it should. Nothing to do but wait for someone to fix it.
  10. It takes you to this we page: https://affinity.help/photo/English.lproj/index.html?page=pages/Extras/hardwareAcceleration.html?title=Hardware acceleration The card support DX 12 and is dated as it seems to be unaware of the 6000 series which supports up to 12.2. Apparently there is a bug, that seems to only affect Affinity.
  11. I cannot enable OpenCL though my operating system and modern GPU are supported, please assist: dixdiag
