Hi Callum, I think the Affinity programme was actually working and it was because my Google Drive hadn't saved the images. Everything seems ok now! Thank you for your help though. Much appreciated.

I can't seem to save any images whether in Photo or Design without there being an error...the document saves, then shows an 'x' on top of the file on my desktop. Does anyone have any ideas? This even happens when I open an image I worked on yesterday that was ok, and when I export it or save it, it has this 'x' now.

Thank you, I managed to hide my left and right studio...it took me all day to find it!! You live and learn.

I'm new to Affinity, but wonder is there a brushes panel in design persona, in the vector mode
