Hi. I would upload a file if the broblem would only come with a certain file but I have exporting issues with multiple affinity documents. I tried different export options and settings, nothing seems to be working. I have to re-install the whole thing, maybe that would help… i have successfully exported sometimes when I open same file with photo… I’m going on a vacation but maybe I could send a file if a have time. thanks.

Hi! Im at a point where Affinity v2 is become unusable. PDF exporting freezes the whole app and there's nothing to do but force quit. All work done previously is of course gone. This just sucks and I don't know why.

Now the application has become unusable. Lags, freezes, crashes. Exporting doesn't work at all. Nice update :D, I'm glad I paid for this shieet...

Hi! Just wanted to share my experience with version2 of affinity Designer. I think new version looks definitely more like a pro software than the old one. BUT that doesn't mean it is better to use. IMO it is unnecessary comlicated. Layer menu is definitely worse than before. Some of the icons look too soft to my eyes also. But I also think that these are minor things that ill get used to quickly. What do you think?

Hi! I have M1 max and I use Designer a lot. Lately it has been seriously slow. Like unusable with basic use. It just stops all the time to load smthing... Really annoying, and making me want to start using Adobe more than ever... I thought that when I upgrade my Mac I wouldnt Get beach balling but seems to me that this software is not optimized with M1 at all. I have re-installed it but no luck. I attached a file that it struggles with but I don't think there's nothing there because its really slow on almost every project I work with. PKBEAUTY-LOGO2.afdesign

I have experienced these kind of crashes weekly. But I'm used to it, its just how affinity designer is. I have used it from the start (couple years) with different Macs. Now using maxed out M1max MacBook and get infinity beach balling from time to time. I just backup often as it failes to restore sometimes. I also get beach balling when working on basic things. But monitoring CPU shows that its not using it almost at all. I work on very large files with many little pieces and often many artboards are open at the same time... Affinity is great but the things I work on, it doesn't like - Jarno

Mac os 11.2.1 Affinity Designer crashes really often with one work that I do. Maybe its because the file is sooo large and filled with thousands of drawings... But it also crashes when I work with "only" hundreds of different drawings in one file...
