  1. Looks like Publisher lets you search/replace by font and style in a doc, so that should make this much easier!
  2. There is only one version in my fonts folder as far as I can see. All the parts in my doc that had this italicized font have been replaced by a default font. The font name is still amiri, but the style section is blank, so I have to go and manually set those sections to italic. The previous version of the font I had installed called these slanted, and now calls them it italic, so I'm guessing that's where the trouble is coming from. Unless there is a quicker way to do it, I have to go through the doc and manually switch all those sections to italic. Not the end of the world or anything, just a mild hassle.
  3. Oh geez, that took care of it. I could have sworn I checked the version a few days ago, and it was 0.113, but maybe in my hours of troubleshooting I switched the font files to an older version? No idea, but deleting the old version and installing the latest version fixed the problem. I mean, it ruined a bunch of my document and I'll have to go in and change all the italicized parts manually now, but that's all on me. Sorry for wasting everyone's time on this. I feel like an idiot.
  4. Thanks for all your effort so far! For what it's worth (and I think I mentioned this previously), exporting the font to pdf using other software (like LibreOffice) worked fine.
  5. Okay, I found a copy of my .afpub file from just before I made the TOC. Hope this helps. Huntervania_b.afpub
  6. AMIRI-SLANTED.TTFAMIRI-BOLDSLANTED.TTFAMIRI-BOLD.TTFAMIRI-REGULAR.TTF Yes, that's the one. I'm sharing the exact fonts from my font folder here as well if that helps.
  7. I laid out a document using the Latin/English version of a font called "amiri." The regular and bold section all export properly, but any italicized/slants parts all come out looking regular (no italicization). I thought it was a problem with the font at first, but after much digging and testing, I've found the font works fine if I use software like LibreOffice to export it to pdf, or even the competing, popular photo editing software that shall not be mentioned in these parts. I even got in touch with the creator of the font, and they suggested the problem was with Affinity. Any suggestions are welcome.
  8. I already did it all by hand, Gabe, so I don't know how useful it would be at this point. I can still share it if you think it can help though.
  9. Is this feature just broken, or is there an intentional reason why it creates hundreds of junk anchors? I was actually hoping it worked as I thought it would - create the TOC with the anchors so I can have PDF bookmarks for all the entries. Now it seems like the only option is to create the anchors manually (which will take hours considering my document size), and I guess turn on PDF bookmarks for each individual anchor?
  10. I tried using the TOC tool to generate a TOC for my document. I wanted it to allow bookmarks in pdfs as well. When I exported the document, I had hundreds of bookmarks in my pdf, many of them about half a dozen duplicates of the same anchor. Managing these anchors is an absolute nightmare because I can't seem to reliably delete them one by one, or all in a group. Lost hours trying to find a solution to this, and can't find anything online or in these forums. I'm obviously not the only person experiencing this problem, but have had no luck with solutions. How can I delete multiple anchors at once, and how can I generate a TOC without also generating hundreds or thousands of anchors? Any help is appreciated.
  11. Same problem. They seem to be created by the Table of Contents creation tool when you generate the TOC. It's extremely frustrating, and after hours of searching online through tutorials and guides, I've found no solution. It would have been easier to manually create the TOC myself.
