  1. I cannot use OTF or TTF font types in any Affinity apps. They are installed in MAC OS in Font book.
  2. Do Affinity apps have tools like those in Gigapixel Photo AI?
  3. Yes, any very bold font that is supported by Photo, Designer and Publisher. Affinity apps do not support OTF and TTF I wish that they did; I can't use many of my fonts in Affinity apps.
  4. Who can help me find the huge Helvetica font used on TV programs like THE 11TH HOUR or THE BULWARK podcast?
  5. I am frustrated that Affinity does not support all font file types.I have a lot of fonts that I can't use in any Affinity application. Ex. ttf file types. Majoris_Italic.ttf Majoris.ttf
  6. Some of my settings did not carry over to ver 2 in Affinity Photo and I forgot how to install them, namely: EFFECTS; ie Outer shadow, 3D, Bevel/Emboss, etc. I can't seem to find those tools in the drop-down menus either. How do I install the effects tools in one of the tool banks on the right?
  7. I am just trying to apply the 3D effect to the edges WITHOUT affecting everything. I do understand isolating the image from the text (creating a new layer by selecting just either the image or the text) and then reapplying the 2 elements. I will play with that.
  8. In this particular case, it is just a screenshot so I can't isolate the elements.
  9. I love to use the 3D effect, especially on text; gives text a "pop" When it comes to using 3D effect on an image however, it always overlays the image with a fog or a haze which destroys the clarity. Is there a way to use 3D effect in Affinity Photo without imparting this haze over the image?
  10. It took a while to find a site where you can actually download this: but here it is for what this is worth: https://hello.monotype.com/Helvetica-Now-Download.html
  11. Thanks for your reply LibreTraining!
  12. I have been trying to find out what that HUGE sans serif font is that MSNBC uses for their titles on shows like "THE ELEVENTH HOUR" with Brian Williams. Do you know the name of this font? Is it available commercially or for private use?
