It can sync my commercial brush packs - why not any settings and studio presets via my Affinity account. I jump from Windows to Mac all the time but its never in sync. This is the joy of software like Figma its cloud based so always the same where ever you access it.
Exactly. Affinity doesn’t need to replicate Figma entirely as they’ve nailed collaboration. But at least the basics of maintaining a workspace should be simpler.

Agreed, but I would add like to add other things as well such as custom settings, tool sticky settings, macros, studio presets, and more. The devs added the ability to mass import content some versions ago and have done a lot of work to make user content easily shared across all Affinity software, so I hope they continue on with more export options too.
Yeah it'd be great to just have an 'export/import custom settings' function. I'm constantly changing computers with work as I swap to client's computers all the time.

There should ideally be a feature to backup all custom settings in Affinity Suite to a file, rather than going to each individual panel and exporting your brushes, swatches etc.

I know, I know, I'm testing beta software...
Affinity Publisher on Sonoma Beta 3 crashes frequently and many of the studio panels are unusable. I go to click on the Character panel for example and it does nothing, then the application crashes maybe 20s after.

In Affinity Publisher, if I'm designing a PDF for print, I'd like to export using facing pages. However, if I want to then distribute that PDF digitally, it makes more sense to export the PDF as single pages. It'd be great to have an option in the export dialog.

Nice, I think 1x is probably a 'maybe in 3yrs time' thing for me. Vero looks good and I like their privacy practices - will have a look.

Hi there,
I'm looking at getting rid of Instagram for an app that's more focused on photo sharing (vs. reels and memes).
The two that stick out are VSCO and Glass. VSCO seems to have more features, while Glass is a more minimal and streamlined app purely for photos.
Does anyone have a recommendation or a favourite non-Instagram app? -

You say that like it's a good thing, something that is acceptable, something that should not surprise us. This is an Affinity forum run by Serif is it not?
You say that they do not respond "in principle". What does that mean? Are you suggesting that Serif/Affinity have a company policy stating that they do not or will not reply to comments, questions or request from paying customers? If true, that is a horrible and stupid decision for any company to make, especially a company in the computer software business - an industry where product life cycles are short, new competition is only one geek-with-a-garage away, and customer loyalty is virtually non-existent.
Yeah at least some basic acknowledgement and an indication as to whether a feature is on the roadmap, stuck in the backlog, or not being developed.

+1 for this. Surely it's a standard use case for vector graphics software.

An issue with RAW processing from Apple Photos
in Other New Bugs and Issues in the Betas

Thanks @Hangman, I forgot that step.
Though I think Affinity should make editing bulk RAW images way easier! There's no batch processing, and for most Apple people who might use the Apple Photos app, its difficult to get a good workflow going.
