  1. Hey there! I just figured it out, at least how I just did it! Create a new design document, and make sure the transparent background is checked off on the right side. You'll then copy the layer(s) of the project from file 1, to the new file where you set up the transparent background, and bingo! You'll have a transparent background when you export to PNG!
  2. Forgive me, I just got woke on Affinity's products today so I have a little bit of a learning curve ( though nearly every feature I am used to works beautifully ). I have Ai files that I am editing with in Designer, but I am also wanting to maintain a transparent background so that I can submit my newly designed logo for merchandise printing. I did purchase both Design and Photo.
