Needed this today, I come across people asking for simple things on the forums all the time. Serif does not come close to Adobe in terms of features despite what people say, it's not a replacement and not even close. It's funny that we live in a time where Tesla is going to have an AI bot that will do your washing and Serif can't even figure out how to distort a vector after 3 years.

This simply isn't true and you know it. There are plenty of reports here: Not a single person has said that updating or reinstalling drivers has fixed it.

At the end of my tether with this. The hours of work I've lost because of this and still not a single fix other than "update your drivers" when my drivers are all up to date. Can I get a refund? I'll put it towards a Photoshop subscription.

Hi MEB I've uploaded it, thank you. I think you may be exactly right with that. In that case there may not be much I can do. I'll be happy in a world where Affinity is the industry standard not Adobe $uite.

Yup, that is what it is. This is Illustrator. This is Affinity Designer. I made sure Export Layers were ticked. The layers don't even match up at all.

Hey MEB, Any update on this? I've just been bitten in the arse with this as the print team require me to have layers in clear groups "Cut lines", "Crease lines" and "Artwork" which I have, but when I send them the PDF they simply replied "Can you please export it again but tick Preserve Layers in PDF". This doesn't seem to be a feature in Publisher/Designer so I'm a little stuck here as they want to open it in Illustrator and send it to print.

I love this view. I get it all the time. They talk about handling 1,000's of layers. Try 4.

I'm having major issues with it crashing all the time. It's since 1.9 on Windows 10. It's annoying because I keep losing work and I never had issues with crashing previously. Interestingly, my reports folder is empty. Even though it's always saying it's sending reports to Microsoft when it crashes.

I have to say, after using Figma a lot. Affinity Designer feels so backwards when it comes to using the pen tool. I can see that there is no type of cutting tool to delete nodes.
